AMORGOS, the easternmost island of the Greek Cyclades is a stunner,
with whitewashed houses, trestled alleyways and fiery rust sunsets ...

Restaurant Limani, Aegiali

Limani is a popular and vibrant  location – one of the hippest taverns on the island – no wonder. The two Panayiotis brothers know how to run a typical greek restaurant, prepare traditional food with home-grown products and look for a nice and easy living atmosphere.

The ambience of the tavern is just terrific. The patio, just beside the church of Saint Nicolas, is two-parted by an amorgos-typically painted pavement and overgrown with beautiful oleanders. Beside the delicious local dishes you should try the far-famed fishsoup. On top of the must-have list is the outstanding fava and an magnificient orange pie. Every friday (except august) there is a long established Thai food evening. This offer was nohow established as a merely touristic attraction – one of the landlords wife comes from Thailand. Also for the selection of wines you have to look, when you are at Limani’s Tavern. The restaurants walls exhibit paintings by local artists, the huge  canvas by Wolfgang Mann positively affects the atmosphere. During Juli and August the restaurant offers a roof terrace too. Make your reservation and relish!
