AMORGOS, the easternmost island of the Greek Cyclades is a stunner,
with whitewashed houses, trestled alleyways and fiery rust sunsets ...

Restaurant Asteria, Aegiali

Tavern Restaurant Asteria

Asteria Tavern is the hangout for locals, with a little touch of a pure dockside-pub. This is an authentic place for Slow-Food friends in every respect! Landlord Mikes offers a number of traditional dishes, most of the ingredients are originated from his own farm. It’s really homemade food – from the scratch.

Asteria is located close to the docks of the small fishing-port of Aegiali. You can sit on a bright patio with a charming patinzed stone floor and watch the village life and fishermen activities. Mikes and his mother look for a very friendly and sedative service with reasonable local-rates. If you are not in a hurry, at Asteria you will drop of to an easy-going holiday-stadium. Here you can really take up time.

Whenever you get the chance for a home-grown pork chop at Asteria – just take it, you will never forget it!
