Well hidden in a small stone tunnel in Tholaria. Passing by you will hear soft jazz music through the day or rock music in the night. It is the place where Argiris Dendrinos runs his wonderful Rakezo Cafe Bar in a more than 200 years old traditional Amorgos stone building.

Coffee´s  and Drinks are true and tasty, you will have a great view to the mountains in the north of the island, enjoy the calm and silent atmosphere of a mountain village. Sunsets watched from the terrace are perfect specially during summer and autum.

Popular drinks at Rakezo are Mochito and Daiquiri cocktails and of course homemade Psimeni Raki.

RAKEZO Old Oven

At Rakezo you will find carefully restored traditional interiour design – stone walls and floors, wooden ceilings and furniture. Downstairs a table is placed in the old oven.

Argiris offers a great and friendly service and looks forward to meet you as his guest at the wonderful place. We are sure you will enjoy the special atmosphere at Rakezo.

Rakezo opens at 10:00 am and closes late at night after the last guest left the bar.
