AMORGOS, the easternmost island of the Greek Cyclades is a stunner,
with whitewashed houses, trestled alleyways and fiery rust sunsets ...

Psilli Ammos Beach, Aegiali

Psilli Ammos Beach

Psilli Ammos is a small (ca. 150m) sandy beach right after the beach of Levrossos and can be accessed either by a path that starts from there or by boat. There are just two left buildings and some nice trees and plants. If you really want to be with yourself go to this beach. It’s just a 30 min. walk from Ormos Aegiali or 10 min. from Levrossos Beach.

  1. Yeps. This used to be the Nuddy Beach back in the day – at least until ’91 anyway. No buildings anywhere around. There was a beautiful path from Ormos beach which went down through a valley of thousands of butterflies. I nearly cried this year when I found it had since disappeared in order to build some monster hotel.
Still, the bar/restaurant there wasn’t at all bad. We had an excellent, very reasonably-priced fish soup there.
I got a great bit of video from my daughter’s waterproof camera looking up to Langada from the sea there. I’ll try and post it – honest..
